Code of Conduct
Vektra Legacy is a competitive game of trade, conflict, and ambition. Rivalry, trash-talk, piracy, betrayal, and hard-fought wars are part of the fun — and they're welcome. This Code exists to keep the game enjoyable for everyone by drawing a clear line between in-character competition and genuine mistreatment of real people. By playing, you agree to these rules.
1. Respectful communication
Hate speech, slurs, harassment, and explicit language are strictly prohibited. Players are expected to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all demographics, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age. In-game banter and rivalry are fine; targeting a real person with abuse is not.
2. Zero tolerance
The following will result in immediate action, up to and including a permanent ban:
- Sexual harassment of any kind.
- Threats of real-world harm or violence against any person.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes minors.
- Sharing another person's private information without consent (doxxing).
3. Fair play
- Do not exploit bugs for advantage. If you find one, report it to the Admiral (in-game mail) or admin@vektralegacy.com — responsible reports are appreciated, not punished.
- No cheating, automation/botting, or use of third-party tools to gain an unfair edge.
- No exploiting other players through real-world scams, threats, or coercion.
4. Identity & spam
- Do not impersonate the Admiral, staff, or other players.
- No spam, advertising, or flooding of in-game mail or channels.
- No posting of illegal content or links.
5. Account integrity
- One person is responsible for their account and its conduct.
- Do not create new accounts to evade a ban, mute, or other sanction.
6. Enforcement
Vektra Legacy is operated and moderated by the Admiral. Enforcement is generally graduated, but the severity of the response is at the Admiral's discretion based on the situation:
- Warning — a notice that conduct crossed a line.
- Mute — temporary or permanent loss of messaging.
- Suspension — temporary loss of account access.
- Permanent ban — for severe or repeated violations.
Zero-tolerance violations (Section 2) may skip straight to a permanent ban. To report a violation, use the in-game report tool, in-game mail to the Admiral, or email admin@vektralegacy.com.
7. Changes
This Code may be updated as the game grows. Material changes will be announced, and continued play after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Code.
